Hi! My name is Rachael. I am 31 and I have lived in East Tennessee my entire life. Although I have traveled to many different places, I could never imagine calling anywhere else home. I met my husband, Derek, the day I graduated from high school and we were married six months later, just three weeks after my 19th birthday. Most people thought we were not ready, but we knew better. Now, more than ten years later, I can honestly say that I love him more now than the day I married him. He is truly my best friend and shoulder to lean on.
In March 2008, we welcomed our first child, Ian, into our family. He is our little trickster and loves all things outdoors. He is a great big brother to Evan, who was born in February 2010, and is our resident sweetheart.
It can sometimes get a little crazy around our house with two rambunctious little boys, but we wouldn't trade our life for anything!
